Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yarne, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Yarne on behalf of a business, school, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Yarne is a small-business operations platform for tutoring schools and coaching businesses. The Service includes CRM records, public inquiry forms, customer portals, class enrollment, waitlists, slot booking, payment tracking, payment slip upload and verification, reminders, owner alerts, reports, receipts, and AI-assisted workflows.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for your account credentials, for activity under your account, and for keeping your organization, contact, billing, and notification information accurate. You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Customer Data and Permissions

You retain ownership of the business records, client records, student records, payment data, uploaded files, messages, and other content you submit to Yarne. You are responsible for having the rights, permissions, notices, and consents required to enter that data into the Service, including any information about children, parents, students, clients, or staff.

5. Payments and Billing

Subscription fees, if applicable, are billed through our payment provider. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, subscription fees are billed in advance and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Customer payments tracked inside Yarne remain transactions between you and your customers.

6. AI and Automation

Yarne may use AI services to read payment slips, summarize records, help draft communications, and support other automation features. AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing important outputs, especially payment, customer, compliance, and communication decisions.

If you enable the LINE AI assistant, you are responsible for deciding the assistant's mode, tool permissions, budget limits, business facts, escalation rules, and customer disclosures. The assistant must not be used for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or high-risk advice. You are responsible for monitoring AI-generated replies shown to your customers and for taking over conversations when a human response is appropriate.

AI-generated answers are provided without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or availability. Yarne may disable or limit AI features that exceed configured budgets, create operational risk, violate these Terms, or depend on unavailable third-party providers.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use Yarne to violate law, infringe rights, transmit malicious code, abuse messaging channels, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the Service, or store content that is unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or outside the scope of ordinary business administration.

8. Third-Party Services

Yarne depends on third-party providers for hosting, database, storage, authentication, AI processing, email, payments, messaging, analytics, and related infrastructure. Their own terms and availability may apply to those services. Open-source dependency notices are summarized in the project's third-party notices.

9. Intellectual Property

Yarne and its software, design, workflows, branding, and documentation are owned by Yarne or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Yarne software or branding. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms.

10. Service Changes and Suspension

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the Service in a way that could harm Yarne, customers, providers, or other users.

11. Disclaimers and Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Yarne is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, except where liability cannot be limited by applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
